For the third year running, Ray White New Zealand has been selected as the exclusive agent to partner with Three’s The Block NZ.
“The position is superb, with up-close views of Eden Park there’s no need for a season pass, you can see all the action from your own living room! While Kingsland Village has all your culinary requirements covered with an amazing collection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Add to the incredible public transport, including the Kingsland Train Station, bus links along New North Road, and the cycleway, you can see precisely why this hip city fringe village is so highly sought-after.” Ms Drinnan said.
This season the four teams are renovating four apartments in the charming 1930’s Georgian-revival fire station in Kingsland, Auckland. It was decommissioned as a fire station in 1972 and transformed into an 18 room boarding house. Now, the building has been transformed into a stylish apartment block with 180-degree views overlooking Eden Park.
Over 12 weeks, the four teams have designed and completed their four high-end inner city apartments. With each apartment offering different aspects and layouts: Apartment 1 is in the historic part of the building and is the largest over two levels and north facing. Apartment 2 is ground level with great views. Apartment 3 has a high stud and unimpeded views and Apartment 4, the penthouse, enjoys a cityscape from both ends of the building.
