The Ray White Group in New Zealand is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in the fast growing city of Nelson.
Ray White New Zealand CEO Carey Smith said the office is owned by Susa Guhl and Marc Steyn, who both have successful backgrounds in real estate throughout the upper South Island region.
“Susa has been a leading salesperson in Nelson for the past nine years while Marc has applied his IT background into real estate over the past three years,” Mr Smith said.
The Ray White Group has four established offices in the area and maintains a market share of more than 25 per cent.
“The Nelson office will add further strength to our group’s market position,” Mr Smith said.
“The company has a shared technology platform which allows sales people from each office to share and promote listings within the group. This provides an added benefit for sellers in an area where purchasing across markets is common.”
Mr Smith said the new office is located in one of the first 5 star green-rated building in Nelson and has a dedicated sales area for 10 licensees, with the sales team expected to grow over the coming months.
“Susa and Marc have first -hand knowledge as top sales people in the area about what is required in regards to support for a high performing sales team,” he said.
Mr Smith said the Nelson region has continued to be an attractive alternative from main city areas for people to live and the outlook for the region remains positive with expected population growth to continue.
Ray White NZ has 131 offices and 1378 licensee salespeople trading approximately $4.8 billion in property sales.
