Ray White takes pride in being the approved property business partner for SuperGold Card, an initiative which commenced through the Ministry of Social Development and endorsed by the Minister for Senior Citizens, Ruth Dyson, and Associate Minister for Senior Citizens, Winston Peters.
The SuperGold Card programme aims to acknowledge contributions made by our seniors and veterans and it reflects society’s desire to offer these seniors preferred services. There are two versions of the SuperGold Card; being the “S branded” card and the “V branded” card. The V branded card is specifically designed for veterans and will be known as the Veteran SuperGold Card.
The card is automatically sent to over 520,000 people receiving New Zealand Superannuation, the Veteran’s Pension and to people aged 65 or over who receive any form of assistance from the Ministry of Social Development. The card carries a magnetic strip and a barcode which details the cardholder’s name, a government unique client number and notations on their eligibility. Cardholders also have the option of adding a photo.
The discount is to be applied at the time of sale at a rate of 10% of the gross normal standard selling fee that is applied to the individual agency. The SuperGold Card holder must be one of the owners of the property and all types of property and all forms of listing are eligible to be included for the discount. The offer is available until 31 December 2011.
